About the Show

A Utah tradition since 1984

Holy Cow Boutique has run about four times a year since 1984. Every vendor is hand-selected through an application process, so shoppers trust the floor and come ready to spend, not just browse.

Most of our shoppers are women ages 25 to 60 from across Utah, and many travel to get here. Many have been coming for years. They know the show, trust that the variety will be worth the trip, and come back season after season. For vendors, that repeat audience is the difference between a one-time sale and a long-term customer.

Applications

How we select vendors

We review every application. Acceptance is based on product quality, originality, pricing that fits our shoppers, and show balance. We try to limit how many vendors sell in each category, though we can't guarantee it.

1

Submit your application

Fill out the online application with your business info, product photos, social media links, and whether you'd like to rent a shelf or add electricity.

2

Jury review

Applications are juried. We evaluate product quality, photography, originality, pricing, and category fit. We send decisions by email as quickly as we can.

4

Setup

You set up your booth before the show opens. Setup times and instructions are in your acceptance email. Bring everything you need to furnish your booth.

During the show

Most vendors don't stay at their booths, and we don't recommend it. If you'd like to stay and staff yours, you'll need our approval first. Come back to restock as needed. Every sale goes through our central checkout, whether or not you're at your booth. After the show, you're paid for your sales, less sales tax and our commission.

100+

Vendors per show

The floor is full — which means traffic flows from booth to booth. A rising tide: shoppers come for the full experience, not one vendor.

Promoted on social media

We promote every show on Instagram and Facebook and feature as many vendors as we can. Tag us in your own posts to widen your reach.

What You Get

More than a booth

Social promotion. Before each show we feature vendors on Instagram and Facebook. We can't feature everyone every show, but we include as many as we can.

Vendor amplification. When you post about the show and tag us, we often re-share to our audience.

A show known for quality. Shoppers come to Holy Cow expecting well-made, distinctive products, and your booth sits among them.

Central checkout. Shoppers pay for everything at our registers, with cash, cards, or tap to pay. You don't run payments at your booth.

An established, loyal audience. Shoppers who've been coming to Holy Cow for years. Not a first-year event building its crowd.

4 shows per year. Each show has its own application, so apply separately for every show you want to join. Shows run every March, May, September, and November.

Frequently Asked Questions

Before you apply

We accept handmade, artisan, boutique, and specialty retail products. Everything from jewelry and clothing to home décor, food, and skincare. We do not accept direct sales / MLM brands. Product quality and originality are the primary criteria.
Yes. Experience isn't a requirement. What we look at is your product, your photography, your pricing, and your fit with our shoppers. Since we run checkout for you, the main commitment is keeping your booth stocked through all five days.
We look at product quality, originality, pricing, booth presentation (through your photos), and category balance. Pricing matters: it needs to fit what sells to the shoppers who come to Holy Cow. We try to limit how many vendors sell in each category to keep the mix balanced, though we can't guarantee it. If a category is already crowded, a new applicant in it has a harder path even with a great product. Strong photos make a real difference.
You'll receive a notification by email. Not being accepted for one show doesn't close the door — many vendors apply multiple times before getting in. We encourage you to apply again and, if possible, strengthen your product photography between shows.
Returning vendors are often given priority when another applicant sells similar products, but no spot is guaranteed. We try to bring in new vendors for at least 20% of the floor each show so our shoppers find something new, though that isn't guaranteed either. We also look at how each vendor's products have sold with our shoppers. If a line hasn't been a strong match for our crowd, we may not invite it back, so the space can go to a better fit. That's about fit with our shoppers, not the quality of your work.
No, and we don't recommend it. Vendors who want to stay and staff their booth need our approval first. Booths aren't set up with room for a vendor to sit or stand in them, and the aisles get crowded fast. Most vendors set up, then come back to restock as needed. Every sale goes through our central checkout, whether or not you're at your booth. What we do ask is that you keep your booth stocked and don't pack up early, since an empty booth affects other vendors and shoppers.
Our refund policy is included with your acceptance, so you'll have it before your booth fee is due.
